The Pinckneyville High School Marching Panthers broke from camp earlier this month after practicing in sweltering weather a medley of songs by Billy Joel. The band is slated to participate in the Murphysboro Apple Festival, Sept. 18; Effingham Field Show, Sept. 25 and University of Illinois Field Show, Oct. 16.
