The Pinckneyville Panthers were on the shortend of the scoreboard for the first time this year falling to Murphysboro 51-50 in an overtime squeaker. The Panthers led throughout most of the game until the Red Devils pulled ahead with 2:31 left in regulation play. The visiting Devils outscored Pinckneyville 7-6 in the extra period. Drew Dudek led all scorers with 20 points. Shay Kellerman added 14 points; Jake Bathon, 9 points; Landon Chandler, 3 points; Kyle Lamb, 2 points and Christian Shopinski, 2 points. A busy weekend is in store for the team as it travels to Anna-Jonesboro to open conference play Dec. 11 and the Marion Shootout Dec. 12.
