The Pinckneyville Panthers dispatched Steeleville 76-42 in the opening round of the Duster Thomas Classic Monday morning. Kyle Lamb led all scorers with 18 points. The Panthers face Olney at 8:30 p.m. Monday night and return Tuesday morning for an 11:30 a.m. tipoff against Carterville. Final round action starts at 4 p.m. Tuesday with match-ups to be determined.
