The Pinckneyville Panther varsity boys basketball team opened its season Nov. 27 with an impressive display on both sides of the ball. The team whipped an undermatched West Frankfort 63-25. Drew Dudek led all scorers with 20 points; Jake Bathon netted 12 and Kyle Lamb added 10. The Panthers host Waterloo-Gibault Friday.
