The Pinckneyville Panthers' drubbing of the  Du Quoin Indians Friday night sets up a scenario of the team hosting its first IHSA playoff game ever. The Panthers, (5-2, 3-1) must defeat Sparta this week at home and Dupo on the road for that to happen. The game against Sparta Oct. 14 is Pinckneville's homecoming and over the weekend the cheerleaders were out painting storefront windows and gin up excitement.
