Nashville's stifling defense proved too much for the Lady Panthers Tuesday as the Hornets won 46-12 at Thomas Gym. Pinckneyville jumped to a 5-0 lead but could do little else. It ended the half scoring only seven points and didn't add to that total until three minutes into the third quarter. Pinckneyville had won 14 of 15 of its last contests and was fresh off winning the West Frankfort Mid-Winter Classic. It is no 18-6 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
