The Lady Panthers hung around for most of the game but couldn't close the gap; losing 52-45 to Breese Central at the Panther Showcase Saturday. Maddie Keith scored a team-high 19 points; Taylor Cicardi chipped in 12; Heather McDaniel, 7; Mo Ramsey, 4; Dani Jenkel, 2; Lindsey Winter, 1 in the losing endeavor. The team travels to Carterville Thursday evening. It hosts Sparta Saturday in game being made up because of this week's storm. Regional action begins next week.
